Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,345m) at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA)

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, we offer you pick up facility from the airport and manage your stay at the most comfortable hotel in the city. You get to meet the team of trekkers and together we prepare for the trek.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley (1,350m)

Today would be the most exhilarating day where you will be introduced to the most pious Hindu and Buddhist religious places that are listed in the UNESCO World Heritage sites and elucidate you to the entire mysticism over its existence Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa, Patan Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath stupa.

Day 3: Fly Kathmandu to Tumlingtar then drive to Chichira (1,980m)

We fly to Tumlingtar (50min) and drive to Chichira 3 to 4 hours it is a small Gurung settlement. We take to rest and prepared for the next day’s trek. Overnight at Chichirer.

Day 4: Chichira to Num (1,560m)

Today is our 2nd day we are star trek morning on the way we wake through the beautiful Villages and lush mountain forest we will stay at Num village. 6 to 7-hour walking.

Day 5: Num to Seduwa (1,500m)

Today, we wake descent forest and terraced farms to rich Barun river. We cross the river and wake to ascent hill we will get the Barun National Park where we register our permits and we walk more and stay top of hill. 6 to 7-hour walk.

Day 6: Seduwa to Tashigaon (2,100m)

Today is our 4th day for trekking through by west Ipsuwa Khola on the west Kasuwa Khola Crossing the hillside and walk to villages and passing by small paddy fields. We will reach the exotic village of Tashi Gaon.it is one of the best places for View. Stay at Tashigaon. 4 to 5-hour walking.

Day 7: Tashigaon to Khongma Danda (3,500m)

Today is a hard day for walking on a steep trail in higher elevation. We will cross through by ascent forest, the stream passes a Kharka (grazing land) and we will walk to rough stone stairs and small lakes. There is one short way down to Khongma Danda. 6 to 7-hour of walking

Day 8: Acclimatization/ Rest

The day off. Rest day. If we like to walk we can around this area. We have to stock energy for tomorrow. We will cross the Shipton la overnight at Khongma danda.

Day 9: Khongma Danda to Dobate

Today we are going to pass Shipton La (pass) it takes a few hours to reach. After the lake Kalo Pokhari(3930m), pass over the Keke la at (4170m). We can see a magnificent view of Chamlang(7321m), Peak 6(6524m) and peak7(6758m) after crossing the pass we walk descend trail beautiful valley to Dobata. Overnight at Dobatae. 6 to 7-hour walk.

Day 10: Dobat to Yangri Kharka (3,557m)

We will pass through the rhododendron forest which leads to the Barun River. We walk the first 2 hours is carefully the trail is steep and arduous. Slowly walk we will be Yangri Kharka it is a base of the valley. Overnight at Yangri Kharka. 6 to 7 hours walk.

Day 11: Yangri Kharka to Langmale Kharka (4,410m)

Today we are following a moderate walk to the valley. On the way, we cross yak pastures, lush forests, and boulder fields. Scenic view of Mountains overnight in Langmale Kharka. wake 5 to 6 hours.

Day 12: Langmale Kharka to Makalu Base camp (4,870m)

Today our trail is flat with icy glaciers and snow-clad mountains. Before Makalu base camp from Shershong, we will see the panorama view surrounding the Makalu base camp. Overnight at Makalu base camp. 6 to 7 hours walk.

Day 13: Explore Makalu Base camp (4,870m)

The base camp is a rocky barren place with a large Barun glacier. From here We can see the magnificent south face of Makalu and Everest and Lhotse. We will explore around lake, glaciers and short trek. we will celebrate our achievement. Overnight at Makalu base camp.

Day 14: Makalu base camp to Yangri Kharka

We wake town descend trail from Makalu base camp. We pass through shershong langmale kharka merek and descend down the valley to yangri Kharka. Overnight at yangri kharka 6 to 7 hours walk.

Day 15: Yangri kharka to Dobate

Our trial is descending through rock falls. We pass from green forests and valley. we follow the river banks of Barun. Overnight at Dobatae. 6 to 7 hours.

Day 16: Dobate to Khongma Danda

The trek today will be easier, as the trek today follows a calm trail through a woodland of firs and rhododendrons. Before we descend to Khongma Danda, we need to cross the Keke La, Tutu La (Shipton’s Pass), and Kauma La en route.

Day 17: Khongma Danda to Tashigaon

Today we trek back to Tashigaon. For another 2-3 hour our trail passes through the cool shades of thick forests area, coming towards the farm terrace and finally making it to the indigenous Sherpa village of Tashigaon.

Day 18: Tashigaon to Seduwa

We retrace our steps, following the downhill track through the farm fields for an hour or two. Leaving the Makalu Barun National park and will descend down to the Barun River. As we move downhill, crossing the hillside and passing through many villages and settlements, we will reach Seduwa again.

Day 19: Seduwa to Num

After Breakfast, we will leave the wonderful Seduwa village. Before we reach the Num village we need to go through the lush forest. The trail is downhill which goes up and down passing through culturally rich Sherpa villages and dense forest, will take you back to Num.

Day 20: Num to Tumlingtar

Today is the final day of our trekking journey. Continuing our journey back, we will retrace our footsteps to Chichira. From Chichira, you can savor the glorious vista of Mount Makalu for the last time. From this point, we will take a pleasant walk until we reach Tumlingtar for an overnight stay.

Day 21: Tumlingtar to Kathmandu

The last day at the Makalu Region! Wake up early to eat a fulfilling breakfast. After breakfast, we will board the plane to fly back to Kathmandu after our long trek in the mountains. On our arrival at the city of temples, you will have free time to explore the city on your own. There will be a farewell dinner (Nepali Food) to celebrate the successful completion of our journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 22: Final Departure

Your wonderful adventure in Nepal comes to an end today. We wish you all the best. A representative from Aarohi Holiday Pvt Ltd will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight.

  • The meals are included in our package which is taken in lodges. We will get breakfast and dinner at the lodge where we stay overnights. Our guide will choose and stop for lunch on the available place for every day on a trek.   • We will have to walk around 6 to 8 hours per day/ 10 to 12 km per day more or less. We will have our breakfast at the tea house and begin our trekking as in the middle of long trekking we will have our lunch at the tea house and after some time we will start the trekking again. However, will end our night will dinner at tea house take rest to have some fun and remaining trek we will start it again tomorrow after breakfast.
