Today is for sightseeing tours to world heritage sites of Pashupatinath Temple-the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of sacred Bagmati River, Bodhanath Stupa-the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world! Patan Durbar Square is the oldest city in the Kathmandu valley with age old tradition also called Lalitpur-the city of fine arts. The visit covers the Durbar Square, the Krishna temple, the Kumbheswore temple, the Golden temple and many more. Swayambhunath Stupa-the 2000 years old legendary stupa on the hillock also nick-named as monkey temple.
We begin the day with the flight from Kathmandu to. The flight lets you enjoy the beauty of green hills with a background of snowy mountain peaks. The flight to Lukla is taken to be most thrilling and exciting as the pilot gracefully flies between hills and lands on a small strip atop a hill. The trek begins from Lukla and we head towards Phakding. First we will be passing through the Cheplung village enjoying the sight of Mount Khumbila. We will further move downhill and finally reach Phakding village. We are welcomed by the grand sight of mountain Kusum Kangraru. We can get a sense of increasing tourism business in the village as there are a number of lodges and tea houses serving the guests. Luka.
Going through a beautiful pine forest, we follow the trail north up the valley of Benkar. After that , we cross Dudh Koshi River and go on passing Chumoa to Monjo,and the entrance to Everest National Park. Then crossing a suspension bridge, we pass Jorsale village and walk to the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. After a while , we reach the heart of Sherpa village – Namche Bazaar. At one hour’s distance to reach Namche Bazaar, if the weather permits, we can view the beautiful sights of Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse.
Our guide will take you to explore around the nearest high elevation There are Many things to do around Namche Bazaar, and we can spend a day here with gaining lots of fun. Namche Bazaar is the heart of the Khumbu region and has government offices, ATMs, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, and a colorful market where we get lots of facilities . Our guides can take us to explore the real beauty of Namche Bazaar. Hiking to Sagarmatha National Park results trekkers with a beautiful sunrise and the mindblowing views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde and so on. In exploring Namche Bazar, we observe traditional Sherpa life, Khumjung Hillary School and enjoy flora and fauna found at such altitude
During this trek we go through the Dudh-Koshi River and pass by rhododendron forests to Tengboche. While going through the Dudh Koshi River, we enjoy the fabulous views of mountain tops like Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse , Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde and so on. Upon reaching Tengboche, we visit Tengboche monastery-the largest monastery in the region and sink in the views of Everest, Ama Dablam and other peaks.
From Tengboche, a steep descent of about 1500ft/500m will take us through rhododendron bushes and fir trees to the Dudh Koshi River. We keep an eye for wildlife such as mountain goats, snow leopards, colorful pheasants, etc. while passing through a forest trail. We cross the river twice at separate locations before reaching Monjo
The trail descends steeply before it cuts up to the airstrip in Chauri Kharka. On our the way we pass by Phakding and Chopling villages. The climb from Chauri Kharka is the final climb of the trek.
Today, we fly back to Kathmandu after our long mountain journey. The early morning flight drops us in Kathmandu. We can rest and relax throughout the day at our hotel
