Royal Trek is the easiest, shortest and persuasive trekking trail of Annapurna Region. Royal Trek takes us to a Gurung village and then to a fabulous view of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna and lamjung Himal. Royal trek has gained its name because Prince Charles and his camp followers exploring the route in 1981 shortly before he married Princess Diana. The royal trek leads you through an easy route with an occasional uphill and downhill hike that follows ridges and valleys. In this trek; the lifestyles of the people who reside here have been unchanged for thousands of years. The trip to end with finishes at picturesque Began Lake which lies around 30km west from Pokhara city.

We begin our 9- Day trip in Kathmandu with visits to UNESCO world heritage sites before heading to one of the shortest treks that follows a shrub-like a path along the foothills of Annapurna north of the Pokhara valley “Royal Trek”

Day 1    Arrival in Kathmandu (13,45m) at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA)

Arrival in Kathmandu (13,45m) at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA). Pick up by our office representative, transfer you to your hotel, evening brief you about your trip, overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu

Day 2    Sightseen around Kathmandu valley world heritage UNESCO site

Today is for sightseeing tours to world heritage sites of Pashupatinath Temple-the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of sacred Baghmati River, Bodhanath Stupa-the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world! Patan Durbar Square is the oldest city in the Kathmandu valley with age old tradition also called Lalitpur-the city of fine arts. The visit covers the Durbar Square, the Krishna temple, the Kumbheswore temple, the Golden temple and many more. . Swayambhunath Stupa-the 2000 years old legendary stupa on the hillock also nick-named as monkey temple

Day 3    Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (900m)

Day 4    Pokhara to Bijayapur by Drive and trek to kalikastan (1370m)

Day 5    Kalikastan to Syaklung(1760m)

The trekking trail that we follow passes through a ridge, which offers a massive view of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna Mountain. We get to know about the local life, visit traditional villages and step into the beautiful rhododendron forest.

Day 6    Syaklung to Chisopani – (1550m)

You start your trek early in the morning and pass through the ethnic Gurung village where you will explore the local lifestyle. You walk ahead and reach an area rich with bio-diversity, filled up with rhododendron and pine trees. After a wall of 400m descend and 600m ascend, you arrive at Chisapani, from where you can see the views of Himalayas, such as Dhaulagiri and Annapurna

Day 7    Chisopani to Begnas Lake

Day 8    Bagnase to Kathmandu

Day 9    Final Departure

Final departure to your onward destination or additional trip to Chitwan/Lumbini
