About the Trip

Chitwan Jungle Safari is one of the premier jungle safari experiences in Nepal and Asia. Established as a national park in 1973 and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, Chitwan National Park offers an exceptional wildlife adventure.

The park is home to over 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceroses, Royal Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild elephants, hyenas, and wild bison. Visitors to Chitwan Jungle Safari can also encounter an array of bird species, with an estimated 126 reptile species residing within the park. Spanning 932 square kilometers, the park provides a diverse and rich habitat for both flora and fauna.

During your Chitwan Jungle Safari, you can explore the park either on the back of an elephant or in a four-wheel-drive jeep, navigating through open grasslands and dense forests. Encounters with wildlife such as wild boars, rhinos, deer, and occasionally tigers are possible. The safari also offers opportunities to delve into the heart of the park, where you can view rare species of plants and animals and observe a variety of bird species, including waterfowl, Brahminy ducks, pintails, bareheaded geese, peahens, and red-headed trogons.

Additionally, the experience includes exposure to the vibrant Tharu culture, with insights into their traditional lifestyle, customs, and dances.

Aarohi Holiday ensures that your Chitwan Jungle Safari is filled with unforgettable moments and exceptional wildlife encounters, catering to both domestic and international visitors.
