Chitwan to Pokhara Blissful Journey is one of the best sightseeing tours to explore the landmark destinations of Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara, and Nagarkot, offering stunning panoramic views of the magnificent Himalayas.

First, on our Chitwan to Pokhara Blissful Journey, we will explore Kathmandu, a city that blends ancient Newari, Hindu, and Buddhist architecture. You’ll see narrow streets and temples alongside modern roads and buildings. Highlights include:

  • Swayambhunath (also known as the Monkey Temple)
  • Pashupatinath Temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva)
  • Boudhanath Stupa (a UNESCO World Heritage site)
  • Patan Durbar Square (famous for its museum)

Second, on our 7-night, 8-day journey, we will visit Chitwan National Park, renowned for its efforts in rhino conservation. The park is home to a population of 503 one-horned rhinos, an endangered species. You will enjoy:

  • A thrilling jungle safari to explore Chitwan National Park

Third, our Chitwan to Pokhara Blissful Journey will take us to Pokhara, a city celebrated for its natural beauty. Pokhara offers a serene atmosphere with lakes and majestic Himalayan peaks rising in the backdrop. The city was once part of a vibrant trade route between India and Tibet.

Finally, we will head to Nagarkot, a scenic spot located 28 km northeast of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2300 meters. Known for its panoramic views of the Himalayas and Kathmandu Valley, Nagarkot is ideal for experiencing breathtaking sunrises, lush forests, and picturesque valley views.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, we offer you a pick-up facility from the airport and manage your stay at the most comfortable hotel in the city. You get to meet the team of trekkers, and together we prepare for the trek.

Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley (1,345m)
Today would be the most exhilarating day where you will be introduced to the most pious Hindu and Buddhist religious places listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites, elucidating the entire mysticism over their existence. Visit Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa, Patan Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath stupa.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Chitwan
Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy refreshments and lunch. Take a village tour on an ox cart, followed by dinner.

Day 4: Chitwan
Start the day with breakfast, followed by an elephant back safari. After lunch, enjoy a canoe ride and visit the Elephant breeding center. In the evening, experience the Tharu Cultural program, followed by dinner.

Day 5: Chitwan to Pokhara
Visit Guptashwor Cave, David's Falls, Bat and Mahendra Cave, Seti Gorge, Bindabasini Temple, and the Mountain Museum.

Day 6: Pokhara City Tour
Drive from Chitwan to Pokhara and enjoy sightseeing in Pokhara, including a visit to Sarangkot sunrise viewpoint of Annapurna mountain and the Peace Pagoda viewpoint.

Day 7: Pokhara to Nagarkot
The drive from Pokhara to Nagarkot takes around 6 hours. Nagarkot is a hill station near Kathmandu, famous for its sunrise and sunset views and beautiful mountains.

Day 8: Departure
Your wonderful adventure in Nepal comes to an end today. We wish you all the best. A representative from Aarohi Holiday Pvt Ltd will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
