About the Trek

Enchanting Nepal Exploration offers a visit and exploration of the most landmark destinations with its diversified culture and breathtaking natural beauty within the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal. Beyond trekking and climbing high mountains, Nepal's natural allure captivates travelers from around the world. This tour is designed to visit the bustling city of Kathmandu, the wilderness of Chitwan, the scenic lake city of Pokhara, and the sunrise city of Nagarkot.

We start our journey by exploring Kathmandu, a city with over 2000 years of history, resting 1400 meters (4,600 ft) above sea level within a valley surrounded by distinct cultural heritage. Kathmandu features its own monuments, gods and goddesses, and unique food and cuisine. We will visit the world heritage sites in Kathmandu Valley, including Patan Durbar Square, Swyambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Boudhanath Stupa.

Next, our Enchanting Nepal Exploration will take us to Chitwan, famous for housing Chitwan National Park, another world heritage site. Chitwan Park is home to a variety of wildlife including clouded leopards, honey badgers, and the one-horned rhinoceros. We will embark on a wildlife jungle safari to explore this special tourism destination, known for its rhinos, tigers, wild elephants, and crocodiles, along with a diverse range of animals and birds.

Our journey continues to Pokhara, the second-largest city in Nepal, known for its beautiful lakes and caves. In Pokhara, we will explore lakes such as Begnas Lake, and enjoy views of peaks like Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu, all within 30 miles of the city. Pokhara also serves as the gateway for trekking to the Annapurna Circuit.

Finally, we will visit Nagarkot, a village on the rim of the Kathmandu Valley, located about 30 km from Kathmandu and 14 km from Bhaktapur. Nagarkot is renowned for its spectacular sunrise and sunset views, with panoramic vistas stretching from Annapurna in the west to Everest in the east, and other mountain ranges.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) pick-up by our office representative, followed by a transfer to your hotel. In the evening, you will be briefed about your program. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley (1,345m)
Today would be the most exhilarating day where you will be introduced to the most pious Hindu and Buddhist religious places listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites, elucidating the entire mysticism over their existence. Visit Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa, Patan Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath stupa.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Chitwan
Enjoy an elephant back safari, Tharu cultural program, and bird watching. After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park—one of Asia’s best-preserved natural habitats of the Great one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, and many other endangered species of mammals, birds, and aquatic life. After refreshment, take a short walk tour to the village of Tharu aboriginal people, whose lifestyle remains unchanged over the centuries.

Day 4: Chitwan to Pokhara
City tour: Visit Guptashwor and David falls, Bat and Mahendra cave, Seti gorge, Bindabasini temple, and the Mountain museum.

Day 5: Pokhara city tour
Visit Sarangkot sunrise viewpoint of Annapurna mountain and Peace pagoda viewpoint.

Day 6: Pokhara to Nagarkot
The drive from Pokhara to Nagarkot takes around 6 hours. Nagarkot is a hill station near Kathmandu, famous for its sunrise and sunset views and beautiful mountains.

Day 7: Departure
Your wonderful adventure in Nepal comes to an end today. We wish you all the best. A representative from Aarohi Holiday Pvt Ltd will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
