Just about anyone can participate in one of these holidays. Minimum walking time is 2 hours and maximum walking time is approximately 5 hours a day. By the time you walk around a number of historical sites you’ll be surprised at how quickly the time passes. You do have the chance to take your time and there are plenty of places where you can rest if needed.

Trip Information

This trip is a combination of cultural sightseeing in the legendary Kathmandu valley, trekking in the Khumbu following in the footsteps of Tenzing and Hillary, heli-touring the Himalayas, and wondering at the world’s highest mountain Everest. Everest alone is sufficient to draw a large group of adventure travelers but other attractions of this trip aren’t weak either. In addition, you will be accommodated in the finest hotels and lodges of Nepal throughout the trip. Plus, it’s the people for whom most travelers return to Nepal for. Meet them, exchange views and personal stories and create lasting memories.

When you land in Kathmandu, our airport representative will receive you. Your trekking guide, who will come to pick you up, will drop you off at the hotel we booked for you on our private tourist vehicle. There will be pre-trek meeting where you will be briefed about the trip and other details. A day will be spent in the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. Your city tour guide will take you to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Next day hop into a small plane to the famed Lukla Airport with your trekking guide, the gateway to Everest, and start trekking. After two nights in the Sherpa capital Namche Bazaar, start your heli-tour of the Everest region, there will be maximum 4 clients and 1 guide per heli. Due to the limit of the weight, you will be allowed to carry your daypack bag but you might be unable to take your luggage bag along with you, in that case our porter will carry them back to Lukla while you are having heli-tour. The views of the Khumbu valley from above are spectacular. On a helicopter, you will be closer to the mountains than you will be on the trail, you will have good aerial view of Mounat everest, Everest Base Camp, Kalapatthar, Khumbu Glacier and Icefall, Ama Dablam Peak, Nuptse Peak and many high Mountains. After your Heli Tour,  you will have your lunch in Lukla and stay there tonight. Next day, early morning you will return back to Kathmandu on a plane.

Note: The flight might get delayed or canceled due to bad weather in Mountains.


  • Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m). Overnight at 5-Star Hotel.

  • Day 02: Guided Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at 5-Star Hotel.

  • Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,804 m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m) – 3 Hours. Overnight at Luxury Lodge.

  • Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) – 5 Hours. Overnight at Luxury Lodge.

  • Day 05: Acclimatization Hike around Namche Bazaar – 3 Hours. Overnight at Luxury Lodge.

  • Day 06: Everest Heli Tour and Stay at Lukla. Overnight at Luxury Lodge.

  • Day 07: Fly to Kathmandu in the morning and rest for whole day. Overnight at 5-Star Hotel.

  • Day 08: Depart from Nepal.


  • Day 1 – Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

    Our airport representative will receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The representative will be displaying an Aarohi Holiday signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle.

    Note: Either on Day 1 or Day 2, depending upon your arrival time, we will host a pre-trek meeting in our office or at the hotel and introduce you to your trekking guide. Please seek this opportunity to ask questions about your trek. We will also supply you with our duffel bag and cap. For the meeting, please make sure you bring your passport, three copies of passport-size photos and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting, please clear the due balance if any, and sign the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer.

  • Day 2 – Guided Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

    After breakfast, your sightseeing trip will start at around 8:30. You will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide at your disposal. Visit the following heritage sites:

    Pashupatinath (World Heritage Site): Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Though you are not allowed to go inside the temple as it is strictly for Hindus only, you can clearly see the temple and the activities from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. It is a square two-tiered pagoda temple built on a single-tier plinth which is famous all over the world.

    Boudhanath (World Heritage Site): Boudhanath is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. It was built in the 5th century. The stupa has four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims circumambulating the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.

    Bhaktapur Durbar Square (World Heritage Site): Visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Royal Residential Quarter of Bhupatindra Malla, the famous five-storied temple of Nyatapola in Pagoda style, the Batsala temple, the Bhairavnath temple, the Duttatraya temple, the Pujari Muth and the Palace of 55 windows.

    The rest of your time today in Kathmandu is free for further exploration and some last-minute shopping in Thamel.

  • Day 3 – Fly to Lukla (2,804 m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m) – 3 Hours

    The 35-minute flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport usually takes place early in the morning. We ensure that you reach Lukla in the first flight, which normally starts at around 6 to 6:30 am. We suggest you to make all the sorting and packing the day before, so there is no rush on Day 3. Once you reach Lukla, have breakfast. Your guide will make an arrangement of porters. We assign one porter to every two clients. Begin the trek by descending towards the Dudh Kosi River where you join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunikharka (2,713 m). The walking is easy and after passing through the small village of Ghat (2,550 m), it is a short walk to Phakding.

  • Day 4 – Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) – 5 Hours

    Of the three days of trekking, today you will walk for the longest hours. After having breakfast, leave Phakding and head towards Namche Bazaar. Continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi and cross the majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views. During your uphill walk, if weather is clear enough, you will get your first view of Mount Everest. Continue climbing and you will reach Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa Capital. It is the biggest town along the Everest trail. The town settled in half-bowl is home to many quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchange services, internet cafes and bakeries.

  • Day 5 – Acclimatization Hike around Namche Bazaar – 3 Hours

    Trekkers and climbers who have arrived in Khumbu region spend a day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize to thinning air of the mountains. It’s exciting to be in this Sherpa town, which is a center of both commercial and cultural activities. During the first half of the day, your guide will take you for a hike around the Bazaar. You will have your lunch at Everest View Hotel, which is at the highest altitude in the world. Visit Sherpa Culture Museum and hike up to Syangboche Airstrip. In your walk, if weather is clear, you will be rewarded with magnificent views of mountains such as Kongde, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Lhotse and Everest.

  • Day 6 – Everest Heli Sightseeing and Stay at Lukla

    This day is the most exciting part of your trekking holiday in Nepal. Have breakfast and the heli sightseeing starts. Climb into a mountain chopper from Namche Bazaar. The chopper takes you for a ride over the majestic Khumbu Valley. The heli sightseeing takes you over Everest Base Camp, Khumbu Glacier and Icefall region, Kalapatthar, Namche Bazar and Lukla, where you will be able to see Ama Dablam peak, Lhotse Peak, Nuptse Peak and many other high Mountains as well. It stops at Lukla and you will have your lunch and stay here tonight.

  • Day 7 – Fly Back to Kathmandu in the Morning

    Today you will fly from Lukla to Kathmandu. You will have a whole day to rest at your luxury hotel or do some activities that you prefer like walking and shopping in the streets of Thamel. There are no sightseeing activities today.

    You might want to stay a little more in Nepal. If you are looking for extending your trip, there are options such as a visit to Chitwan National Park, known for wildlife viewing and to Pokhara, considered one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal. You can also extend your trip to Tibet, India or Bhutan.

    And, at the end of this day, we host a farewell dinner at a Nepali restaurant with cultural performances.

  • Day 8 – Depart from Nepal

    The trip concludes. Our airport representative will drop you at Tribhuwan International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.

Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100. Please bring 2 copies of passport size photos).
